Urban Necessities allows consignors to select a “Payout” amount for each item consigned. Consignors will be paid out their selected “Payout” amount following the sale of their product. As a consignor, you will receive your “Payout” amount less any applicable expenses such as Storage Fees, Bank Fees, or Cleaning Fees.
Items that are worn or not new (Deadstock) may require cleaning prior to being put on the sales floor. A Cleaning fee of $15 will be charged which is either deducted from the amount you are to receive when items sells, or will be due to Urban Necessities if your unsold items is picked up. In some cases, the cleaning fee could be more than $15 if more than standard cleaning is needed to prepare your items for sale.
Urban Necessities charges a storage fee for warehousing of $2, per product, for each 30 day cycle the item is in our inventory and has not sold. This storage fee begins after the first 30 days and is removed from consignment payouts and not billed separately. It is charged on items sold and on items requested back that are unsold.
